Mother's day card

Hola!!
Espero te guste, y te animes a dejarme algún lindo comentario, me encanta leerlos y me motivan mucho.

Hi!!
During the past few months, I created several projects that couldn't upload to my blog, because I was really busy redesigning it so, little by little, I will upload all those projects I created in the meanwhile.
This is one of them. A very simple but eye-catching mother's day card. I only used 3 colors.
I like to try new techniques and scrapbooking styles, now I wanted to try something "clean and simple". This technique is about creating minimalistic projects, where the elements are used to the minimum but very effectively, placing them on plain backgrounds, or with patterns with stripes, flowers, dots. This way, the embellishments are highlighted and usually have great color contrast, or take the focal point to an specific element (It could be a photograph).
This time I decided to use a white background, and did embossing and paper piercing to embellish the background. I punched out some butterflies, and use some glossy accents on the butterfly of the right top corner. Also, I put some beads on the body of the butterflies.
The red flower was cut with the cricut expression 2, and the flower shoppe cartridge, then I drew those dotted lines over the flower's petals with a white gel pen.
I used a sizzix die to cut out the banner with the sentiment, and then, I made by myself the envelop, using the same details I used on the card.
Hope you like it. I would like to read your opinion, so feel free to leave me a message.
Have a nice day!
